Happy Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We hope everyone enjoyed the holiday with some good company and yummy food, we sure did. We have much to be thankful for and we are hoping to keep this spirit of thanks in our minds all year round. On a not so happy note, our camera is broken so no pictures of the festivities, hope to figure out the problem soon.

Seems like we've been busy these past few weeks. Kaine is in cub scouts and basketball, my parents have come to visit a few weekends, our doors have FINALLY been painted and most are up with new hardware, we've begun to paint the hallway, not to mention Lilia's never ending adventures :) Here's some misc pictures from among the chaos.
Roseola outbreak
Kaine warming up for his game,I would include more pictures of the basketball experience but the lighting is bad in the gym for picture taking:(
Cub Scouts
Kaine joined cub scouts about two months ago, because of his age he is at the Bear status. So far he has had a blast building a rubber band powered spaceship, making a Native American drum, learning how to fold an American flag, and preforming in an official boy scout flag ceremony in honor of Veteran's Day. I was just asked this last week to be a den mother over wolves and bears.... I'll keep you posted this should be exciting.

Tricks and Treats
Happy Halloween. Our weekend has been full of treats and not so many tricks, but we aren't complaining! Let's see my parents came to stay for the weekend, Kaine's basketball team won their first game this season, we went to a harvest party, oh yeah and of course trick or treating!

Car ride to the harvest party, not so fun
Trick or Treat
Kaine doing the turkey bowl. He just about took out those cabinets in the back with the frozen 8 lb turkey. The harvest party was a blast!
I love this picture of Kaine :)
Goodbye Garden... Hello Rain
We said goodbye to our garden last week when we picked the last vegetable, which happened to be Lilia's favorite a green pepper. We spent the weekend raking leaves from our many trees, cleaning the pine needles out of our gutters, spraying down for spiders, and hunkering down for the rainy season. And it's a good thing we did, it rained all last week! Lilia got to break in her new rain boots Grandma Tami got her, while Kaine enjoyed trying to teacher her how to splash in the puddles.
