Shopping Time with Grandma Tami

Grandma Tami came up today to take Little Miss out shopping. Lilia is quite the shopper, she had a great time with Grandma! Thanks for the new princess dress Grandma!

Pinewood Derby

Last night was the pinewood derby, the biggest event of the year for most cub scouts, besides cub camp. We had a great time! Kaine's FBI speed racer didn't take first, but sure flew down the track. He got an award for the BOLDEST car of the night. We were sure proud of his good sportsmanship and effort. Here are some pictures from the evening...

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Happy Anniversary to Grandma Tami and Grandpa Russ! We are so happy they have each other to share some good laughs and a great life together.  St. Patrick's day is a wonderful day to celebrate such an occasion and we did some celebrating too! We had corned beef, cabbage, and soda bread for dinner or if you are Lilia "popcorned beef and sodie popped bread". After our feast we learned some Irish trivia,  watched the Muppets version of "Oh Danny Boy" and the kids thoroughly entertained us after learning how to river dance on youtube :) To finish off our celebration we had some traditional Irish potato candy Lilia and I made. We had a great St. Patrick's day and we hope you did too.
