We had a wonderful and very busy 4th if July weekend! Friday afternoon we had to take Kaine to the train station, I planned it so we could have some fun before sending Kaine off, we played at the fountains down town, went for ice cream, played at the park, and toured a beautiful rose garden. Saturday Grandma and Grandpa Westover came to town an we took a hike at Beacon Rock and enjoyed the pool out back. Sunday we went to church and for a nice family bike ride. It was Monday that the real grand old celebration began. Lilia and Eli rode in their first parade, we had a pancake feast with our church at a local park, both Grandparents Mahrts and Westover were able to be there for the fun. We enjoyed the day with a picnic, ladder ball, and some serious pool time.In the afternoon we all headed to the train station to pick up Kaine, I think he enjoyed everyone being there when he got off the train. We headed home for an amazing barbecue, smores, and fireworks! To be honest most of us were so wiped we didn't make it to fire works, but Grandpa Jerry and Kaine did, Kaine had his first campout of the year in the back yard! We had a wonderful weekend and are so fortunate to live in this great country of America...
