We went to the zoo this past weekend with the kids and they had a blast! We wanted to check out the new safari exhibit and we were all impressed. Lilia learned to roar like a lion and Kaine enjoyed leading us around. We can hardly wait for the new orangatan exhibit to open this spring! We love our zoo pass.

Not so sure about this

December was a great month in the Conrad house! It went bye really fast, too fast. We had all sorts of Christmas celebrations with our families. It was wonderful to see everyone. Kaine got to spend Christmas break with his Mom, little brother and all of her family. We saw some snow here on NE 11th Place. Matt and I celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary. Lilia had her first sleep over with Grandma Tami and Grandpa Russ and loved it! The month was truly full of excitement. Sorry to update so late, our computer has finally meet it's last day. We are currently using a Mac and well I am still getting used to it. We hope everyone enjoyed the Christmas season, we love you all and hope the New Year is treating you and yours well!

Back in business

I'd wanted and planned to have family pictures done this day, but bagged the idea because Lilia had gotten a black eye two days before, it was horrible, and good thing I canceled because Kaine gave himself a hickie in the middle of his forehead with a toy dart this morning, so much for a cute Christmas card photo.... maybe next year.


We are back in business, our camera is up and running again. This weekend we went to Grandma Tami's to celebrate Casey's birthday (Matt's brother) and take our annual trip to the White Lane Christmas tree farm. We decorated our tree and are planning on getting up our lights tomorrow. Kaine is so excited for this Christmas and we are too!

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We hope everyone enjoyed the holiday with some good company and yummy food, we sure did. We have much to be thankful for and we are hoping to keep this spirit of thanks in our minds all year round. On a not so happy note, our camera is broken so no pictures of the festivities, hope to figure out the problem soon.

Seems like we've been busy these past few weeks. Kaine is in cub scouts and basketball, my parents have come to visit a few weekends, our doors have FINALLY been painted and most are up with new hardware, we've begun to paint the hallway, not to mention Lilia's never ending adventures :) Here's some misc pictures from among the chaos.
