Sand and Waves and Cake Oh My....

We spent four days and three nights at the beach with the kids this past week in honor of their birthdays. There were sand and waves and cake oh my... We had a blast! I don't know who was more tired the kids or us. We stayed in a one bedroom hotel with a kitchen and swimming pool in Seaside, OR. We visited Haystack Rock in Cannon Beach, Battery Russell in Warrenton, the Aquarium, the Arcade, the Carousel, several toy shops and of course the Candy Man in Seaside. Kaine loved swimming in the pool, dipping his toes in the ocean, aimlessly wondering the toy stores, and checking out the tide pools. Lilia couldn't get enough of the sand, she loved the pool and I think the carousel was her favorite. We made many memories that I hope I never forget. Our children are one year older and well I am not yet sure at 1 and 9 they are wiser, they certainly know how to make their parents happy.

She loved the sand

Party!

Today we celebrated Natalie and Lilia's 1st birthday together! Natalie is Lilia's cousin from Matthew's side of the family. The party fell between their birthdays and what a party it turned out to be! Grandma Tami hosted the birthday celebration at Willamette park on the Willamette river. The food was wonderful, the cake cute as a button, and the company the best. It was nice to see everyone. Thank you for making Lilia's 1st birthday special!Mommy and Birthday Girl!

Conrad Backyard Picnic

Scott Susan Matthew Casey Peggy- The Conrad Family

This past weekend we held a Conrad backyard picnic at our house. We had a wonderful time with Matthew's Dad, Aunts, and Brother. Kaine was able to make it and his company made it all the better. We feel so blessed to have the family we do.
