This is a post that has been long over due, intentionally and partly the reason the blog was neglected for such a long time. I knew this post needed to be written, but I just couldn't. Every time I go to write this I can not find the words to say what it is that I might say. Sadly I still don't know what it is I should say only that it is time... as many of you know Casey (Matt's younger brother) passed away suddenly in May. His loss has been huge for our family. He was our brother, uncle, and always our friend. He made us laugh like no one else could. He reminded us often what is important in life, family. He always had a kind word and a thoughtful gesture. Casey loved our children as if they were his own and nothing meant more to us. He was a one of a kind kind of guy. We miss him more than we could ever say. There is not a day that has passed that his name and a memory of him has not been shared in our home. We look forward to the day when we will meet again, until then his love is forever in our hearts.
