Multnomah Falls

What a hike! This weekend Matt, Lilia, and I visited Multnomah Falls. Multnomah Falls is the second-tallest year-round waterfall in the nation. The water of the Falls drops 620 feet from the top of Larch Mountain. For those of you who haven't been before there is an upper and lower fall. The foot bridge looks over the lower fall. We hiked up to the upper fall, there was a total of 11 switch backs over the course of a mile. This was our first visit to the Falls, but won't be our last. Lilia had a blast and was a happy little bird just taking in Mother Nature.

Top of the Falls, looking back at the water before it makes the plunge.

A view of the upper Fall on the way up.

Looking down over the lower Fall from the foot bridge.

This is fun!

Enjoying some coffee and chai tea before we make the climb.

So beautiful! Lilia is growing and becoming more and more adorable everytime I see a picture! She looks lik YOU Kallie. That is one thing I miss about Washington, the lush beauty and waterfalls. Thanks for sharing.
