First Two Weeks of Summer

Summer is here! We are officially 1 week into our favorite season and well we haven't seen too much sun although we are working on having lots of fun! I say working because it has been work the past few day, this second week off of school all of the kids and Matt have come down with a virus. Lilia spent a few hours in the ER getting re hydrated with an IV and was given a prescription, she has elevated liver enzymes so we will be making a trip to our regular doctor sometime soon to see what that is about.  I am so thankful I did not catch it (at least not yet), it is a lot of work taking care of a house full of sick ones. I'll spare you the details and just say every bowl and towel has been dirtied and I have had to make a special trip to the store for 7UP and toilet paper.

So let's see so far this summer we have.... gone to the Farmer's market, bought a new pool  (played in it once so far), had a few picnics (even a teddy bear picnic), made Gak, went to a magic show, ate cotton candy and jumped in the jumpy house at the local carnival, visited the library and park several times, made a trip or two to the craft store for some rainy day fun, Kaine's had a friend or two over and been to a friend's house, barbecued with friends and family, spend a day at the lake, rented Gnomeo and Juliet (super cute movie) and well I think you can see we've tried to keep busy all things considered.
